Introduction To Gundog Training
Our 7-week introduction course is the ideal place to start if you are thinking of gundog training. Demonstrations and exercises for you to get started with your gundog training in each of the 7 sessions have inspired many to step onto the gundog training ladder.
Gundog Obedience
Most dog owners want the holy trinity, solid sit, awesome recall, and lovely loose lead pulling. This 7-week course will give you all the information you need to go away practice and achieve your goals, using rewards-based methods we use with our own dogs.
Dummy Launcher Workshops
When you have reached a suitable level in our gundog groups, Classes or 121s you can take the next step into your gundogs training with simulated training days using state of the art top quality dummy launcher workshops offering you and your dog the chance to work with those noises associated with a shoot.
Cold Game Workshops
When you are at a level ready to start thinking about your first shoot, we offer cold game training days, getting your dogs to pick cold game, including, grouse, duck, partridge, pheasant, woodcock, and fur in a non-pressured environment.
In The Field Days
The last step before "flying solo" a full shoot day experience, working on the beating line in the morning and picking up in the afternoon, all with the support of experienced gamekeepers and our own gundog trainers. These days are very rare an are normally booked up a season in advance. Only dogs that are at the 'Woodcock' level of our training program are eligible for our 'In The Field Days'
