Based locally and with a genuine passion for well-run shoot days, we offer dedicated picking up and brushing/beating services. As we're actively involved in gamekeeping on a local shoot ourselves (typically 100-bird days), we truly understand the pressures and joys of a shoot day.
Our aim is simple: to muck in, reduce stress for the organisers, and ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible with efficiency and a smile.

We pride ourselves on our fantastic team of gundogs, ready to get to work on your shoot:
- A Versatile Team: We have a wonderful team of 10 dogs for picking up – 7 hardworking Labradors and 3 energetic Spaniels. This mix allows us to adapt to different drives and cover.
- Scalable to Your Needs: Whether you're running a smaller farm day and need a compact team, or a larger commercial shoot requiring more coverage, we can tailor the number of dogs to suit your requirements.
- Experienced & Efficient: Our dogs are experienced in marking, hunting, and retrieving, and we're diligent when it comes to finding runners and thoroughly sweeping up at the end of a drive. We ensure all birds are dispatched humanely and handled with care.
- Fully Prepared: We come with our own suitable transport for the dogs and are fully insured, giving you peace of mind.
Need a hand in the beating line or for brushing out specific areas of cover?
- Dedicated Spaniel Team: We have 5 fantastic Spaniels specifically for this work. They are keen, biddable, and love to work.
- Steady & Reliable: Crucially, all our spaniels are steady and have never chased game, ensuring they work effectively within the beating line and under control.
- Local Knowledge & Involvement: Being based in the heart of Breckland and involved in a local shoot, we know the area and understand what makes a good day.
- Empathy & Support: We know what it's like behind the scenes! We aim to be a supportive presence, helping to alleviate the stresses that can come with organising and running a shoot day.
